Embroidery digitizing is the process of converting artwork into a digital file using an embroidery software that allows embroidery machines to understand the needle’s path. Embroidery technique is preferred over printing technique because it is long-lasting on a garment.

How does embroidery digitizing work?

An artwork supplied by customer is imported to the embroidery software which is further adjusted into the right size specified by the customer and digitized accordingly into a specific digitized file format considering the specification of a garment. The Embroidery Machine has a hard drive which can be further used to read the digitized file and run on the fabric/garment for final output.

Types of embroidery digitizing?

There are various types of Embroidery digitizing such as flat, 3D Puff, Appliquéing and many more. Some locations on the garment for which the digitizing is done, for example, Left chest, Right chest, Caps/Hats, Sleeves, Jacket Back, Beanie etc.

What is the the importance of quality digitizing?

There are various companies available in the market who provide embroidery digitizing, however only a handful of them provide quality digitizing work, and we are one of them. Embroidery Digitizing is an art with a passion to achieve the desired results for any project. Quality work only comes when all the steps are thoroughly followed as per the standard guidelines of the software for any specific fabric or garment. We provide a PDF view of the design for our customers to see how it will look on the fabric/garment. This helps to gain the customer confidence. Quality digitizing ensures growth in the business and build a strong relationship with new and existing customers.

What are the common digitizing errors and how to avoid them?

Digitizing takes a lot of things to consider avoiding some common errors like, density of the stitches, Pull com, stitch length, type of stitches tatami or satin etc.

How to submit embroidery designs for digitizing?

Customer sends the file with instructions via email, the design then goes into production software to adjust the size. Once the size is adjusted, our digitizer starts digitizing/punching the stitches to the design using the software. The digitized files then move into quality department for QC. Once it passes the quality check, it comes back to the digitizer to generate the PDF file for customer preview. Digitizer then uploads the files for the customer via email.

What are the factors that affect embroidery digitizing

Some of the factors that affect embroidery digitizing are: type of fabric, the complexity of the design, the size to achieve quality outcome.
